Old towns

We are clearing the map to prevent old stuff being everywhere, left to be griefed. Coco has been asking for old town coords so she can clean them, and make place for new towns. You can build anywhere you want, but after 2 months we might come in to clean it if you have been online for 2 months. Would you guys rather have a lagging map with griefed shit everywhere? There is absolutely no reason to clear old towns and all their builds just to "avoid griefing". Might as well fly around the wild and delete every single wilderness build then. Old towns are being deleted to make room for new ones. The builds are being deleted to make more room for new builds and to prevent the older ones from being griefed. This is not every build as well, but only towns where players have been inactive for more than 2 months, which is plenty of time. We are not deleting every single wilderness build because those aren't in towns. We need to clear towns not builds, and clearing the towns build when the town is deleted leaves more room for more towns. This is not being done to just "avoid griefing". This is being done because players want to create town but can't because the maximum number of towns have been reached. I encourage you to read the full post before you post on it next time. Lets say you find a beautiful spot to build a town, and you're super excited, but you look down and see this tiny little town that you can't move. It's 4,000+ hours old. That sucks, doesn't it? That's why we remove the builds. We don't do it every time. Only in some cases, and it is heavily based upon the time the owner of the town has been inactive.
